Maple & Walnut Biedermeier Style Bar Cabinet
A handsome piece celebrating the elaborate Biedermeier aesthetics. An assemblage of high quality materials form a nicely sized bar cabinet, adaptable for a variety of uses. The piece is cased with stained walnut around the perimeter and faced primarily in high-gloss lacquered maple. Two left and right doors are equipped with a turn-key lockable latch. Each door face is two-thirds lacquered maple and the rest a wonderful high gloss piano black finish with art-deco inspired gold pin stripes. At its center two sliding glass doors allow access to a mirror backed display area with glass shelves, below is a felt bottomed drawer as well as a drop down cabinet for additional storage. The piece is lifted up with four delicate splayed walnut legs. Overall in very good condition with minor wear as expected with history.
