Series 7 Counter Stools, Set of 10
Arne Jacobsen's Series 7 suite has become a ubiquitous design icon, a level of simplicity and function that designers aim to achieve today. Among his collection of varying iterations exists an exquisite response to the Stool form. Jacobsen's 1955 design conformed to the proportions of a counter stool with ease and provides an elegant solution to this category of seating. The iconic wood shell, crafted from pressure moulded veneer, is pedestaled by a simple chromed steel frame; not to detract attention from the organic nature of its seat. From every angle the shell is a delight to view and look absolutely stunning lined up at a counter space.
Our set of ten counter stools are finished in ash wood veneer, cleanly white washed for a crisp look. These are most fitting in a variety of settings; a generous counter space in a residence or perhaps a lounge in a hospitality setting. Overall this set is in excellent condition with minor wear present such as abrasions to the veneer, as expected with age and history.
