Emeco Navy Stools in Aluminum by Philippe Starck
Emeco Navy Stool's were designed by Philippe Starck. The EMECO Navy chair original bar stool was created in 1944 for the US Navy as a lightweight, non-corrosive, fire resistant and super strong chair for ships and submarines. Indoor/Outdoor use with minimal care. Built by hand from recycled aluminum in Hanover, Pennsylvania. They are light and extremely sturdy. Tested to last 150 years. Very cool stools. These stool are still in production and start at over 1,200 retail. Good vintage condition, wear consistent with age and use.
